Now it is time to celebrate the small businesses of the U.S. by supporting them on Saturday, November 28, 2015 – designated Small Business Saturday.
On Small Business Saturday, people are asked to shop at a small business in their neighborhood to show support.
There are also helpful hints on the Small Business Administration’s government website www.sba.gov For example - Hints about marketing campaigns that a small business owner can have during the holiday season.

According to 2010 data of the U.S. Census Bureau there were 27.9 million small businesses in the U.S.
(A small business has been defined as a business with fewer than 500 employees.)
More than 50% of workers work in a small business. *
Small business has generated about 65% of the net new jobs since 1995. *
On November 28 take a stroll down your Main Street; purchase something from a small business store and help to support Small Business Saturday.
